Here’s what to know about the oddsboard:
Season Over?: No team in NFL history has started the year 0-5 and still made it to the playoffs, and this year, we have three winless teams so far: the Dolphins, Titans and Chargers. Most disappointing of that group, of course, is Los Angeles, which was at +1700 to win the Super Bowl entering the season. Those odds are now at +20000. Last week, L.A. was at -1200 to miss the postseason. Those odds are now at -8000.
Middle Of The Pack: There are a few teams that have been hovering in the middle of the oddsboard all year, including the Cowboys, Eagles and Packers. Dallas has lost two of its last three and moved from +100 last week to -150, now favored to miss the postseason. The Eagles are also in the midst of a slide, having lost three in a row. Still, last week they were at -160 to miss the playoffs, and this week, they are at -164. As for the Packers, they appear to be headed in the right direction. Winners of their last two, they went from -330 last week to -186 this week.
