Last Tuesday, defensive end Cam Jordan signed a one-year deal to return to the New Orleans Saints for what will be his 16th and final NFL season.
Jordan said he was super excited and felt blessed to be back with the team that drafted him in 2011 but there’s a lot of work to be done both on and off the field.
Jordan also said while there were ongoing talks all throughout the offseason about his return, it wasn’t always smooth sailing to get to this point and as time went on many fans thought Jordan’s days in New Orleans were over especially we got closer to minicamp. Fortunately, both sides were able to come to an agreement and Jordan will finish his career where he started.
