SOME VERY IMPORTANT THOUGHTS

  • Trivia question answer: the J-E-T-S are the only NFL team without a former Eagle. In last year’s version of this activity, there were SIX teams that didn’t have a former Bird.
  • I put an asterisk (*) next to the 14 teams the Eagles will play this season.
  • The AFC North led the NFL in former Eagles players in June 2023. The NFC North led the league in former Eagles players in June 2024. The AFC North, NFC North, and AFC West were all tied for the lead in 2025. Now the NFC South leads in former Eagles players … after finishing second to last in 2025. The Panthers and Falcons are doing the heavy lifting. On a related note, Atlanta notably hired former Eagles executive Ian Cunningham as their general manager earlier this year.
  • The AFC East had the fewest Eagles in 2025, which was weird because they usually had a lot. Now they’re one player short of the lead.
  • Who’s one obscure player you’d like to have back?
  • If the Eagles could reacquire one former Eagles player that’s currently under contract, who would you pick?
  • If the Eagles could reacquire one former player who left prior to March 2026 (when the new league year began), who would you pick?
