RODGERS’ DRAFT CLASS RECALL
Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history. While he’s past his prime, he’s still hoping to help the Steelers go on a playoff run. Rodgers has lost a lot of his athleticism, but his mind is still as sharp as ever.
That was on display when he played a fun game with former Steelers corner Bryant McFadden where they tried to list the first-round picks from the 2005 draft. Both were selected that year, although McFadden went in the second round whereas Rodgers went in the first round. The two of them didn’t have much trouble, with Rodgers showing that he can still go deep into his well of knowledge.
ORIOLES PLAYER DOESN’T LIKE STEELERS
The Baltimore Ravens are one of the Steelers’ fiercest rivals ever. The two teams have had plenty of tough battles in the AFC North, with both of them battling for the division crown. There’s not a lot of love lost between the two teams.
That extends to other professional sports teams in each city, too. Eric Booth Jr., whom the Baltimore Orioles recently drafted, said via the team’s Twitter account that he doesn’t like the Steelers. While he’s new to Baltimore, it hasn’t taken him long to fit in with the city’s culture.
BISHOP INTS
Cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. made the Steelers in 2024 as an undrafted free agent rookie. He played in every game as a rookie, including six starts, and recorded four interceptions. However, he struggled to build on that season. Bishop was waived before the 2025 season started, and although he landed on Pittsburgh’s practice squad, he was later let go during the season.
Bishop signed with the Chicago Bears earlier this month, and he made an impact in their first preseason game. Bishop picked off Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the fourth quarter. He had another interception later in the game, this time off Dillon Gabriel. Maybe that will help Bishop stick on the Bears’ 53-man roster.
