His 2025 campaign was highlighted by 43 touchdown passes and 10 rushing touchdowns, showcasing his ability to impact the game through the air and on the ground. The Royals’ explosive offense helped establish Bethel among the nation’s elite Division III programs, averaging 503.4 yards and 49.6 points per game in 2025.
Drews is a decisive and confident thrower who keeps the offense moving with quick decisions and an ability to attack vertically. He shows accuracy on short and intermediate throws, consistently placing the football where his receivers can make plays, while his effectiveness in the RPO game adds another dimension to Bethel’s attack. At over 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, he combines prototypical quarterback stature with the physicality to impact the game in multiple ways. His size and strength allow him to absorb contact, stand in against pressure and deliver throws under duress, while his athleticism enables him to roll outside the pocket and create with his legs.
