Clavicular is a controversial online personality who has caught the attention of Chris Weidman, but for seemingly all the wrong reasons. The polarizing streamer Clavicular is known for his looksmaxxing practices that involve young men using controversial means to achieve an attractiveness standard. Methods that can involve problematic drug use as well as smashing one’s features with a hammer to achieve a more angular look so as to increase one’s “sexual market value” to use the parlance of that community.

While much of Clav’s online presence is generally hedonistic behaviour inside of a variety of Florida-based nightclubs, one of his more popular clips also saw him get trucked fairly easily when the man known as Braden Peters tried out a jiu-jitsu class. Former UFC champ and 2026 UFC Hall of Fame inductee Weidman recently caught the attention of some online fans when he referenced Clavicular on his show Deep Waters to co-host Din Thomas, but the latter had no idea about the divisive online personality.

A lot of the subsequent comments online posited that Weidman knew way more about Clavicular than he was letting on to Thomas, and when clarifying what he does know about Clav, as he’s called to some, Weidman said [via Bowks Talking Bouts],

“Oh, man. I mean, I’ve seen a couple of his videos. I mean I got kids. I got a 13-year-old son. I got a 16-year-old daughter. So I guess I’m in that world a little bit more than other people. I don’t know. He probably is on my algorithm because my kids jump on my phone all the time and they’re probably checking out the streamers.”

“But yeah, what do I know about him? He talks about girls faces, their eyebrows are too big and their bone structure needs some work. Like he crushes these girls. He’s a pretty boy. I’ve seen him roll a little bit. He looked awful. Definitely shouldn’t be doing any fighting or anything like that. I don’t know what else to say about him. I [had] seen because we did a follow-up on that on the next Deep Waters show with Din Thomas, [Dustin] Poirier, and [Jorge] Masvidal, and they said he might have overdosed.”

Clavicular has to rest his “head on that pillow at night” and ask “what do you feel about yourself?”, per Weidman

As he further delved into his thoughts on the Clavicular lore that he is privvy to, Weidman continued [via Bowks Talking Bouts],

“I think he’s dealing with some some crap. So, it’s tough. He’s in the limelight. He’s probably saying things he shouldn’t be saying about people, which is he’s hitting below the belt for the views. It’s probably fun, but at some point you got to rest your head on that pillow at night and like what do you feel about yourself? I’m not trying to define his life or where he is mentally.”

“But based on overdosing or whatever happened with him, sounds like he’s not in the right place mentally. Even though when you watch like a stream of his, he looks like he’s got his crap together. But no, I don’t follow Clavicular. I don’t know when he streams. I don’t know anything like that. I get hit with the clips here and there. That’s it.”
