The Dallas Cowboys came through with a win last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Our three bold takes came through with sort of a win, if you grade on a curve, and any bold predictions should be graded on a curve otherwise they would be safe predictions!
We said the defensive tackles would get two sacks versus the Eagles, but they only came up with one, so we’re giving ourselves a half point. We totally whiffed on a comeback game for Jake Ferguson; he had zero catches! But, we did hit on a turnover for DeMarvion Overshown (we called it a fumble recovery, he got an interception). We’re giving ourselves a hit on that one using our grade curve.
Now we move on to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cowboys are at home for the game, and are seven-point favorites, according to our friends at FanDuel. The over/under is 54.5 points.

Caleb Downs gets his second sack of the season
Caleb Downs hasn’t had the flashiest of start to his career with the Cowboys, but he has been solid. He makes a lot of tackles, and misses a few, and is finding his way in pass coverage. This week, he is going to get loose on a blitz and tally his second sack on the season. It would be his first one since all the way back in Week 1 versus the Giants.
Tyler Goodson will score his first Cowboys TD
Javonte Williams has been all the rage this week, and deservedly so, as he busted off 155 yards rushing against the Eagles. Hidden under that was a nice game from Tyler Goodson, who is starting to settle in as RB2. This week he hits paydirt for the first time in his Cowboys career, and only the third time in his four-year NFL career.
Brandon Aubrey nails two 50+ yard field goals
Brandon Aubrey is only three of six on field goals over 50 yards this season. That isn’t what the Cowboy paid him top dollar for in the offseason. This week, in the friendly confines of AT&T Stadium, Aubrey goes 2-for-2 on field goals of 50 yards or more, including one over 60 yards.
