RODGERS’ LOCKER NEIGHBOR
Aaron Rodgers is currently the longest-tenured player in the NFL. He’s been in the league since 2005, and he’s accomplished a lot. However, he’s said this will be his final season. He’s considered retiring in recent years, but he’s finally confirmed that 2026 will be his last year. He’ll be surrounded by younger players in the Steelers’ locker room, though.
Radio station 93.7 The Fan posted a video on Twitter where Rodgers revealed that his locker is right next to Gennings Dunker’s this year, with Max Iheanachor close by, too. Dunker and Iheanachor are rookies, and hopefully, some of their youthful spirit will rub off on Rodgers throughout the year.
STEELERS AT ASU
The 2026 regular season is almost here, and the Steelers are looking to compete for a Super Bowl. While they haven’t won a playoff game in nearly a decade, they’re hoping a new coaching staff will help reinvigorate them. However, they still have other things to focus on, like next year’s draft.
Brad Denny shared on Twitter that the Steelers were one of several teams that had a scout at Arizona State University. The draft is still far away, but NFL teams have to start working early to get an eye on prospects. It’s unclear exactly who the Steelers wanted to watch at ASU, but we’ll see whether any of the school’s players are on Pittsburgh’s radar after this season.
PICKENS WELCOMED JONES
Broderick Jones was a miss by the Steelers. They spent a first-round pick on him, and he didn’t pan out. As a result, they traded him to the Dallas Cowboys. He’s not the only player that Pittsburgh has traded to Dallas in recent years, though. Pittsburgh dealt George Pickens to the Cowboys last year. He and Jones were also teammates in college, and now they’re reuniting.
Pickens seems excited to see Jones joining him, too. He took to Twitter to express his excitement. Pickens had a breakout season with the Cowboys, looking like one of the best receivers in the league. Jones might not take that kind of leap, but we’ll see if he gets his career back on track with his new team.
