There is one exhibition remaining before the Dallas Cowboys have to put together their “final” 53-man roster, and it takes place on Friday evening at AT&T Stadium against the New Orleans Saints.

NFL rules dictate that teams must offer depth charts for these preseason games and they continually stress that they are “unofficial.” Below you will find the latest and final one for the Cowboys this preseason period.

Very little has changed for the Cowboys over the course of their unofficial depth charts this year. The most notable adjustment has been the addition of Von Miller, and to underscore how not seriously they take this, the player who the team waived to make room for him in Traeshon Holden has appeared on both unofficial depth charts since the team processed that move.

You will note that there are still three “or” designations.

  • Joe Milton and Sam Howell
  • Marist Liufau and Sam Williams
  • Shavon Revel and Cobie Durant

That word may carry the most literal meaning with regards to Liufau and Williams as the other four are squarely on the roster, even if battling for certain spots within it. This week could determine which one of Liufau and/or Williams finds themselves with a locker at The Star come Week 1.
