Conor McGregor has provided another update on his recovery from the injury that ended his UFC 329 comeback, revealing he is set to receive the results of a scan on Thursday. The former two-division champion also reiterated his view that his bout with Max Holloway should have been ruled a no contest.

McGregor’s return to the Octagon lasted just 69 seconds after he suffered a right leg injury during the opening exchanges of his welterweight contest with Holloway. The fight was stopped by referee Mike Beltran after McGregor was unable to continue.

Posting on Instagram on Wednesday night, McGregor confirmed he was awaiting further medical information. “Scan results tomorrow,” wrote McGregor.

McGregor also repeated his belief that the outcome of the contest should be changed. “The fight should be a no contest and all bets returned,” he wrote.

The 38-year-old has remained active on social media since the event, consistently expressing his determination to recover. He previously stated he intends to undergo surgery, complete his rehabilitation and return to training before fulfilling the final fight on his current UFC contract.
