What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?
I believe I’m a versatile player who can contribute in multiple ways. I bring the ability to catch the ball, block in the run game, contribute on special teams, and make plays with the ball in my hands. I’m competitive, coachable, and always looking for ways to improve. I believe my work ethic, versatility, and willingness to do whatever my team needs make me a valuable prospect.
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?
One of the biggest adversities I faced was losing my brother to gun violence during my football season. It was extremely difficult to continue practicing, competing, and handling my responsibilities while grieving. I used football as an outlet and carried my brother’s memory with me every time I stepped on the field. It taught me mental toughness, perseverance, and how to keep pushing forward even during the hardest moments.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
Outside of football, I enjoy riding dirt bikes and giving back to my community by helping train young defensive backs and wide receivers. I enjoy helping other athletes develop their skills and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my football career.
What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?
I see myself being a versatile player who can contribute as a run blocker, pass catcher, returner, and special teams player. I want to be the type of player a team can trust in multiple situations and someone who adds value in whatever role the coaches need me to fill.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to programs that provide opportunities and resources for underprivileged youth. I believe sports can give young people discipline, confidence, mentorship, and a positive direction in life. I would want to help give kids opportunities that they may not otherwise have.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?
I handle coaching and criticism very well. I consider myself a student of the game because I’m always looking for ways to learn and improve. If a coach corrects me, I don’t take it personally I take it as an opportunity to get better. I’m willing to watch film, listen, ask questions, and continue working on something until I get it right.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
One of the most underrated players I know is Joshua Yearby, who plays at Beloit College. I respect his ability and the work he puts into the game, and I believe he deserves more recognition for what he brings to the field.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Antonio Brown — He is my favorite wide receiver of all time. I would want to learn about his approach to the game, route running, preparation, and what made him such a dynamic player.
50 Cent — I respect him as a businessman and entrepreneur. I would want to learn how he built his brand, overcame adversity, and turned his success into different business opportunities.
Kobe Bryant — I would want to learn from his mindset, work ethic, and competitiveness. His dedication to becoming great is something I would want to bring into my own football career.
If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?
The most likely reason would be if I wasn’t executing my assignments consistently or putting myself in the best position to help the team. I hold myself to a high standard, so if that happened, I would take accountability, learn from it, and work to earn my role back.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine.
I like to get to the stadium early so I have time to mentally prepare. I put on my headphones, walk the field, and take a moment to pray at the goal post. After that, I get into my football mindset by running routes, getting my body loose, and visualizing myself making plays. I like to be calm, focused, and prepared before kickoff.
What is your favorite snack food?
My favorite snack food is sour patches and white popcorn
What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?
I feel like I can fit into multiple offensive schemes because of my versatility. I believe I can be effective in a spread offense, West Coast-style offense, or any system that allows me to use my ability as a pass catcher, blocker, and playmaker. I’m comfortable adapting to what the offense needs.
What is your degree in?
I am pursuing a double major in Film Studies and Psychology at Lawrence University. Both have helped me develop skills outside of football, including communication, creativity, understanding people, and looking at situations from different perspectives.
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?
The first thing I would do is make sure my family is taken care of and put myself in a strong financial position. After that, I would invest in my future rather than spending everything immediately. Making it to the NFL would be a blessing, and I would want to make sure I use that opportunity to build long term stability for myself and my family.
