The Defending Champs: No matter what happens, the Dodgers will be favored to win it all, considering they have not left the top of the oddsboard all season. There have been some troubling signs of late, however. L.A. was just swept by Atlanta in the final regular-season series between the two teams, and earlier in August, the Brewers beat the Dodgers 3-1 in a four-game series at Dodger Stadium. L.A. will end the regular season with a 4-9 record against the other two best teams in the National League.
