CHAMPAIGN — Will Riley scored 26 of his 31 factors within the second half to set an Illinois scoring report for a freshman debut, and the Illini eased by Japanese Illinois 112-67 on Monday evening.
Riley scored 15 of Illinois’ 17 factors late within the second half, together with 12 straight to take a 41-point lead. He completed 10 of 13 from the sphere in simply 25 minutes, making 5 of 6 from 3-point vary and 6 of seven on the free-throw line.
Riley made all four of his 3-pointers in the second half, together with a four-point play with 5:14 left.
