Sept. 20 (UPI) — A Turkish man with a expertise for basketball trick photographs earned his third Guinness World Data title by sinking a blindfolded hook shot from 65 ft and seven inches away.
Osman Gürcü, 42, beat the previous record for the farthest blindfolded basketball hook shot, which stood at 60 ft.
Gürcü, who performs on an over-40s basketball crew, additionally holds the data for the farthest behind-the-backboard basketball shot (36 ft, 1.07 inches) and the farthest basketball bounce shot (98 ft, 5 inches).
“Since I used to be younger I have been thinking about trick photographs just like the longest distance shot, it was my dream to interrupt a world report like this,” Gürcü informed Guinness World Data.
