UFC Austin: Calvin Kattar vs. Josh Emmett live results.
A pair of top-10 UFC featherweights, Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett will battle for positioning in the UFC rankings in their main event at UFC Austin, weeks out from Alexander Volkanovsi and Max Holloway’s trilogy title bout.
Kattar, currently ranked No. 4, has won three of his last four. He’ll come in off back-to-back Fight of the Night performances — stemming from a loss to Holloway last year and a win over Giga Chikadze in January.
Emmett has won six of his last seven, including his last four straight. He most recently fought at UFC 269 in December, defeating Dan Ige.
UFC legends Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Joe Lauzon were meant to face off in the co-main event but after Lauzon experienced a knee injury, their fight was called off. This is the second time in a row the fight has been scrapped on the day of the fight.
