MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Twins and Carlos Correa made a mutual resolution that the shortstop will skip the World Baseball Basic for household causes, along with his spouse anticipating a child through the event.
The Twins introduced Monday that Correa won’t take part with the Puerto Rico nationwide crew for the fifth version of the occasion, which was final performed in 2017. Correa’s spouse, Daniella, is due with the couple’s second youngster on March 11. The WBC begins on March 8.
“This was a difficult resolution for Carlos.
