NFL broad receiver Stefon Diggs claims former Basketball Wives Orlando star Mulan Hernandez tried to intimidate him bodily as a part of an extortion try.

In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, February 26, and obtained by the Houston Chronicle, Diggs — a free agent who final performed for the Houston Texans — alleges he was punched within the chest by Hernandez, “threatened with a lethal weapon” and is the sufferer of a “story of abuse to extort tens of millions of {dollars}.”

Diggs is searching for damages for “defendant misconduct and the destruction of his property.” The lawsuit claims Jones destroyed a wristwatch belonging to the soccer star, which TMZ valued at $130K.

The athlete’s legal professional, Kent Schaffer, stated Diggs, 31, and Hernandez (whose actual title is Mia Jones) had a “informal” relationship within the months main as much as the incident, which allegedly occurred in June 2024. 

The lawsuit claims Hernandez and Brianna “Brii” Mack — who can be named as a defendant within the lawsuit — destroyed property at Diggs’ house and “refused to go away.”

Paperwork state Hernandez went to a Houston hospital on the morning of June 7, the date of the alleged incident, for “nausea and vomiting” after a “lengthy night time of partying.” Hernandez was allegedly discharged inside an hour and denied “bodily abuse of any form.”

Hernandez made a second journey to the hospital per week later, in accordance with court docket paperwork, when she claimed she was “punched behind the pinnacle with a closed fist.”

Diggs has denied bodily assaulting Jones.

“My understanding is that [Hernandez] and [Mack] on  [June 14] went to the hospital collectively making complaints. She was handled and launched the identical day,” Schaffer stated in an announcement to the Chronicle. “She didn’t see [Diggs] that day.”

Schaffer added, “There have been threats coming from [Hernandez] that he needed to pay her cash or she was going to go public and damage his profession. We’re type of on the level the place the threats need to cease. That’s why the choice was made to go forward and file. In some unspecified time in the future it simply has to finish.”

Hernandez, who previously dated NBA star Bol Bol, issued an announcement in regards to the alleged incident via her Instagram on Thursday, February 27.

“On June seventh I used to be assaulted from behind by Stefon Diggs at our residence, an incident that resulted in a concussion,” she wrote. “Months later when the mediation HIS LEGAL TEAM REQUESTED didn’t pan out in his favor I used to be struck with this FABRICATED STORY publicly.”

She continued, “That is clearly an try to attempt [and] get forward of the reality that’s to come back. I WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED NOR SILENCED. Having to relive this second could be very traumatic for me particularly in my time of therapeutic. Home violence is one thing I don’t want on anybody [and] every little thing that’s performed in the dead of night will come to the sunshine.”
