The Boston Red Sox fired pitching coach Dave Bush and third-base coach Carlos Febles on Monday because the crew tries to rebuild after a 3rd last-place end in 4 seasons.
Bush had been the Purple Sox’s pitching coach because the 2020 season after serving three years because the membership’s minor league pitching coordinator. He’s a former pitcher who spent 9 years within the majors with the Blue Jays, Brewers and Rangers.
Boston’s pitching employees posted a 4.52 ERA in 2023, which was twenty first total in MLB.
