O’Malley entered his final combat in opposition to Raulian Paiva in December with lingering harm that prevented him from having the coaching camp that he wished heading into the combat. This time round, that isn’t the case.
“I sparred the final exhausting sparring rounds. Three yesterday. I really feel good. No accidents. Sparring is finished. I couldn’t say that final combat camp,” O’Malley stated on the TimboSugarShow on Monday.
“It’s been an excellent camp. It’s been an excellent f**king camp. One exhausting week left of coaching after which we depart for combat week.”
O’Malley is ranked No. 13 within the bantamweight division. Munhoz is ranked No. 10. A win over Munhoz would transfer O’Malley into the Prime 10 rankings and nearby of contender standing.
