PARIS — The workforce supervisor of the top-seeded males’s heavyweight boxer on the Paris Olympics died on the athletes village in Saint-Denis.
Lionel Elika Fatupaito died Friday morning on the village, the Oceania regional group of Olympic nationwide committees stated in a press release on behalf of its Samoan member.
The Worldwide Olympic Committee stated Elika Fatupaito died of pure causes. In a press release Saturday, the IOC expressed “its condolences to your entire Samoan NOC, his household and pals.”
Elika Fatupaito was on the Olympics with a Samoan workforce that has one boxer who’s a robust medal contender, Ato Plodzicki-Faoagali.
