No. 9 seed Tennessee (10-2, 6-2 SEC) is making ready to play at No. 8 seed Ohio State (10-2, 7-2 Massive Ten) within the first-round of the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes will host the Vols on Saturday at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio (8 p.m. EST, ABC).
“One of many objectives for our program is to earn the best to get into this event,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel stated. “I’m pleased with what our guys have executed within the first week of this preparation. We have now gotten a whole lot of young-guy work. We have now been intentional with that all through the course of the season as effectively and have tried to proceed that as now we have shifted our focus to Ohio State. All of the work and vitality that you just put into it, that is the place you need to be.”
