After 72 days on the injured checklist, Fernando Tatis Jr. is about to make his return.
Per The San Diego Union-Tribune’s Kevin Acee, Tatis will probably be activated from the injured checklist and within the lineup for the Padres’ sequence opener towards the Detroit Tigers on Monday.

Tatis has been on the injured checklist since June 21, whereas coping with a quad pressure.
