RALEIGH, NC. – Don Waddell, President and Normal Supervisor of the Nationwide Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, right this moment introduced that ahead Max Pacioretty suffered a torn Achilles within the third interval of the Hurricanes’ 5-2 win in opposition to the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. Pacioretty has been positioned on injured reserve.

Pacioretty, 34, scored three targets in 5 video games with Carolina this season, making his Hurricanes debut on Jan. 5 in opposition to Nashville.
