Jurickson Profar had an eventful day at work Sunday.

The San Diego Padres’ left fielder robbed a house run early in Sport 2 of the Nationwide League Division Collection at Dodger Stadium. Later within the Padres’ 10-2 rout, he was the goal of followers hurling objects — together with baseballs — on the sector.

“Sport 1, I feel (the followers) wished to do it however they had been profitable so that they stopped,” Profar stated. “I feel in Sport 1 if we had been profitable they might’ve completed the identical.”

Profar stated he did not say something to the followers after. He merely stood in place, hopping, feigning as if the ball was within the stands earlier than throwing it again to the infield.

Maybe that provoked the followers’ ire, however throwing objects on the sector crossed a line. The collection will solely shift again to Dodger Stadium if the best-of-five collection goes the gap.
