MLB will announce the winners of its higher-profile awards this week, beginning Monday with Rookie of the Yr honors within the American and Nationwide leagues.
MLB introduced finalists for its end-of-season awards earlier this month, with some anticipated names main the best way.
Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani is a finalist for AL MVP alongside two gamers from the World Collection champion Texas Rangers. New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole is a finalist for what can be his first AL Cy Younger award.
Within the NL, Arizona Diamondbacks breakout and playoff hero Corbin Carroll is among the many Rookie of the Yr finalists. In the meantime, newly hired Chicago Cubs manager Craig Counsell is among the many Supervisor of the Yr finalists after main his now former crew, the Milwaukee Brewers, to the postseason.
The winners shall be introduced Monday at 6 p.m. ET on MLB Community by Thursday, with each MVP awards introduced Thursday.
