A 42-year-old man has been charged with theft of property after allegedly swiping unique sneakers off the entrance porch of Memphis males’s basketball head coach Penny Hardaway’s house on Aug. 8.
Per Megan Fayard of WREG, CBS’ Memphis affiliate, Ronald James is accused of stealing 26 pairs of sneakers. Hardaway beforehand instructed WREG that they had been “one-of-a-kind” Foamposites plus a “household and good friend unique.”
Per a police report obtained by ESPN’s Myron Medcalf, digicam footage confirmed a person with a procuring cart piled with packages touring down an East Memphis road near Hardaway’s house.
Bond has not but been set for James, per WREG.
Medcalf offered extra data on the sneakers.
