Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold discovered inspiration in Israel Adesanya‘s UFC 287 knockout win over Alex Pereira.
Adesanya knocked Pereira out within the second spherical of the UFC 287 principal occasion earlier this month to recapture the 185-pound championship. Heading into the battle, Adesanya was stopped by Pereira at UFC 281 and defeated by ‘Poatan’ twice in kickboxing.
“It was image f**king good. Good for him,” Rockhold mentioned about Adesanya’s win.
“Look what Izzy did. Everybody counting him out, everybody doing that, and he stepped ahead and did his factor,” Rockhold informed Submission Radio.
“Anyone who’s a f**king actual motherf**ker who’s gonna step ahead and need to show folks unsuitable and use that as a driving power. Different folks simply sit again behind their channels and speak shit and make excuses and chitter chatter and hate on folks, and I’m simply f**king sick of it. And I like spitting in these motherfuckers’ faces. Hock huge loogies in all of your haters’ faces,” continued Rockhold.
“Izzy ‘s been, you realize, I’m certain I impressed Izzy as he was youthful, and he’s impressed me. You drive inspiration by means of everyone. He was a f**king gangster. He was tremendous gangster.”
Rockhold retired from combined martial arts after his UFC 278 loss to Paulo Costa. In January, he introduced that he had negotiated a launch from his UFC contract. In March, Rockhold inked a cope with Naked Knuckle Combating Championship. He’s set to his debut towards Mike Perry at BKFC 41 on April 29.
