Digital platform Oshi has introduced an anime adaptation of Takumi Yanai‘s Gate Season 2: Jieitai Kano Umi nite Kaku Tatakaer (Gate 2: Tides of Battle) gentle novel on Thursday, revealing the lead workers.

Yanai initially penned the journey fantasy gentle novel on the Arcadia web site from 2006 to 2009. AlphaPolis revealed the novel in 5 volumes between April 2010 to December 2011, that includes illustrations by Daisuke Izuka. The Gate Season 2 sequel novel was revealed in 5 volumes from July 2017 to November 2020.
A-1 Pictures tailored the unique gentle novel right into a 24 episode tv anime, airing in break up cours in Summer 2016 and Winter 2016.
