The Los Angeles Lakers would have “zero intention” of buying and selling Austin Reaves to the Sacramento Kings in a deal for De’Aaron Fox.

NBA insider Jake Fischer reported that information on Thursday in The Stein Line e-newsletter whereas explaining why the Lakers aren’t one among Fox’s “most popular locations.”

“Among the many the explanation why the Lakers are usually not Fox’s most popular vacation spot: Klutch has direct data of many Lakers dealings because of its illustration of LeBron James and Anthony Davis,” Fischer wrote.

“Which suggests Klutch is aware of, as sources inform The Stein Line, that the Lakers have zero intention of parting with Sacramento’s presumed prime goal in any Fox discussions: Austin Reaves.”

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on NBA As we speak that the Lakers weren’t a “vacation spot of alternative” for Fox.

“One factor I can say, with Wealthy Paul, we all know he is obtained LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Lakers. I am instructed the Lakers are usually not a part of that vacation spot of alternative for De’Aaron Fox probably,” Charania stated.

That vacation spot seems to be the San Antonio Spurs, per reviews from James Ham of ESPN 1320 and Sam Amick of The Athletic. Nonetheless, Amick did observe that Fox’s camp “will stay open to all locations.”
