Baltimore Orioles left fielder Colton Cowser threw the ball from the ultimate out of a 9-7 win over the Kansas City Royals into the Kauffman Stadium fountains. About two minutes later, he realized he might need made a mistake.

Craig Kimbrel had gotten his 422nd save Saturday night time, tying Billy Wagner for seventh on the profession listing.

“I suppose Cow simply threw the ball into the stands,” Hyde mentioned. “We have to have a bit of extra consciousness out in left area if you catch that, when the man on the mound is that top in saves.”

For his half, Cowser mentioned he realized his lesson.

“Each time I catch the ball and it is a final out from him now, it is staying within the glove,” he mentioned.
