Switch Jaykwon Walton will not be becoming a member of the Alabama men’s basketball team anymore.
Crimson Tide coach Nate Oats stated in a press release Monday that Alabama is “not recruiting Jaykwon Walton and he is not going to be a student-athlete on the College of Alabama.”
Walton was arrested Saturday on Reed Road close to the Strip in Tuscaloosa and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana. He was launched after posting a $500 bond.
Walton introduced in late March he can be transferring to the Crimson Tide.
The 6-foot-7, 206-pound junior averaged 13.9 factors, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists over 32.3 minutes per recreation this previous season with Wichita State.
