Igor Severino will return for the primary time since his notorious biting incident.
Severino (8-1) meets former two-time bantamweight champion Jonas Magard (17-6) Dec. 29 at OKTAGON 65 from O2 Area in Prague, Czech Republic, promotion officers announced Monday.
Severino was disqualified for biting Andre Lima in the arm throughout their combat in March, which was his UFC debut. The Dana White’s Contender Collection graduate was immediately released from his contract, and acquired a nine-month suspension and $2,000 fine from the Nevada Athletic Fee.
Days after the incident, Severino apologized for biting Lima in an interview with MMA Junkie. He appears to be like ahead to returning to motion for the distinguished Czech-Slovak promotion.
“I’ll make my debut in OKTAGON MMA in opposition to Jonas Magard,” Severino mentioned in an Instagram video. “I’m very excited for the combat. I can’t wait to go there and placed on a present for everyone. Jonas, I see you quickly. I’m prepared. Dec. 29, let’s go.”
