Hajime no Ippo Manga Punches Its Method to Over 100 Million Copies

George Morikawa’s boxing manga Hajime no Ippo has been running for an unbelievable 34 years, and the 138th quantity simply launched in Japan on July 14. This one encompasses a cowl illustration that hearkens again to the duvet of the very first quantity, and with its launch comes phrase that over 100 million copies of the sequence have been printed bodily and bought digitally.
Morikawa whipped up a celebratory illustration for Weekly Shonen Journal, pictured above, and Kodansha unveiled huge banners on its constructing, pictured beneath.
