George Foreman, the legendary boxing champion, has died. He was 76. Foreman was a larger-than-life character within the ring, which carried over after his combating day to a profitable run in enterprise in addition to leisure.
The gold medal winner in 1968 on the Summer time Olympics in Mexico Metropolis, Foreman’s boxing profession continued into his 40s, a miraculous run within the sport. Followers would later know him for his George Forman Grill, an invention that launched Large George the Entrepreneur to a brand new viewers.
“Our hearts are damaged,” a family message began on Instagram. “With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr., who peacefully departed on March 21, 2025, surrounded by family members.”
