Two native groups are heading to Ft. Valley State College for the state boys basketball semifinals after Wednesday night time wins.
Fayette County hosted the Woodland Wolfpack and received 83-71.
They had been led by Sean Van Dorn’s 21 factors and Keith Gillespie’s 20. RJ Kennedy posted 19 factors and 5 assists, and Christian McAllister added 13 factors and 6 rebounds.

In a matchup of the highest two groups in Class AAA, Sandy Creek went on the street to Savannah and beat the Johnson Atomsmashers 56-50.
They had been led by Micah Smith’s 17 factors, and Amari Brown added 14.
Sandy Creek has made the Remaining 4 in 5 of the final seven seasons.
