Drew Dober on UFC Mexico Metropolis Loss
Drew Dober hopped on his X account to challenge an announcement after the robust loss towards Manuel Torres.
“Effectively, that sucked. A superbly timed one two by Manuel Torres. There’s not a lot to go off of aside from, sadly, stepping in entrance of the rear hand of a protracted energy puncher.
“As a lot as I really like Mexico Metropolis, it’s given me two of my most embarrassing losses of my profession, haha. However the meals and persons are nonetheless the perfect. I’m completely happy and wholesome and excited to be a keep at dwelling dad for some time.”
The final time Dober competed in Mexico Metropolis previous to this previous Saturday was again in June 2015. He was submitted by Efrain Escudero in simply 54 seconds. It’s been a tough stretch for the Omaha native, as he hasn’t gained a bout contained in the Octagon since Oct. 2023. That win was towards Ricky Glenn, who isn’t on the UFC roster anymore.
Again in 2022, Dober regarded higher than ever. He was on a three-fight successful streak, defeating King Inexperienced, Rafael Alves, and Terrance McKinney. His momentum was derailed after struggling a first-round TKO loss to Matt Frevola in Might 2023. Frevola has since dropped two fights in a row through knockout.
