Dillon Danis has been prepping for his fight sports activities return with a UFC champion.

Danis has hung out coaching with UFC mild heavyweight champ Alex Pereira forward of his 185-pound boxing match vs. KSI, which headlines Misfits Boxing 21 on March 29 in Manchester, England.

Danis hasn’t competed since boxing YouTube and WWE star Logan Paul in October 2023. He misplaced the bout by disqualification. The 31-year-old described what it was like coaching with Pereira.

“I prefer to be within the pocket and throw,” Danis informed Bloody Elbow. “That’s how me and Pereira have been sparring in case you watch the footage. However these guys (KSI and Paul), they don’t wish to interact. Run across the ring and circle, and KSI’s high quality is doing star jumps or some sh*t.

“Alex is a beast. He’s one of many strongest individuals I’ve ever felt in my entire life. So I’m excited to see him f*cking knock out Ankalaev. I hate Dagestanis. Not all of them, however lots if I’m trustworthy. So Alex has proven me lots, and he’s only a f*cking animal who I’m comfortable to coach with.”

Pereira additionally spoke about coaching with Danis in a current interview with Bloody Elbow.

“I feel it’s a great battle, two large names,” Pereira stated via an interpreter. “I skilled with him at this time, and clearly he’s a unique weight, he’s a unique measurement than I’m, and a unique fashion, however he’s doing very effectively. He’s coaching with us, so I’m going to be rooting for him. I couldn’t say any completely different, however I’ll be watching the battle and hope he’ll win.”

Danis already has his subsequent task set. He meets former interim UFC light-weight champion Tony Ferguson below the International Struggle League banner Could 11 in Los Angeles.
