Carson Ferguson to make NASCAR Truck debut in Kaulig Ram entry at Bristol

Kaulig Racing has announced Carson Ferguson as the next driver of the team’s No. 25 Ram 1500 ‘free agent’ truck, with the accomplished dirt racer making his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Bristol next weekend.

Ferguson was the runner-up in the ‘Ram: Race for the Seat’ competition, which decided the full-time driver of the team’s No. 14 truck for the 2026 season. He lost out to Mini Tyrrell, but now they will be teammates next weekend at Bristol.

Kaulig has used a variety of drivers in its No. 25 truck this year, planning to have a rotating driver lineup throughout the year. So far, the truck has featured Tony Stewart, Colin Braun, Ty Dillon, and Corey LaJoie.

Kaulig is fielding five trucks as part of Ram’s return to NASCAR, and the entire organization is still working on catching up to the competition. Kaulig has three top tens across the fleet with 2025 ARCA champion Brenden Queen earning the team’s best result of seventh at Daytona. Braun finished ninth at St. Petersburg, and Justin Haley was tenth at Atlanta.
