Mike Brown has a message for the remainder of the NBA: This isn’t a Sacramento Kings group to be messed with.
Brown addressed the skirmish between Kings ahead Trey Lyles and Bucks middle Brook Lopez that occurred late within the fourth quarter of Monday’s sport towards Milwaukee, saying his group will stick collectively.
“I do not know what occurred, however we ain’t taking no s–t from no one,” Brown instructed reporters after the 133-124 loss to the Bucks. “Belief me on that. They usually’re all going to have one another’s backs in there.”
The altercation occurred after Lyles tried to steal the ball from Giannis Antetokounmpo with 15.1 seconds left regardless of the sport being out of attain. Lopez took exception to the aggressive steal try, pushing Lyles as Antetokounmpo walked away from the play.

“I assumed what that man did to Giannis was low cost,” Lopez told reporters afterward. “He did not must do any of that stuff. He stepped as much as Giannis somewhat bit as he walked off and I did not like that. I had my man’s again like I’d have any of my teammates.”
Lyles then grabbed Lopez’s neck, resulting in the Bucks massive man responding in type. A number of gamers then stepped in to interrupt the 2 up earlier than the state of affairs escalated. Each Lyles and Lopez had been ejected from the sport.

Kings gamers stated afterward they took exception with the way in which Antetokounmpo was dribbling out the clock.
“It might have been prevented if he simply dribbled it out,” Lyles stated. “For those who watch, I am simply strolling again with my head down. He crossed in entrance of me, reached from behind and clamped from behind, so I pushed to get my arm off. He offered it a bit. It was nothing private.”
