NEW YORK CITY — UFC middleweight Bo Nickal’s efficiency at UFC 309 obtained the Madison Sq. Backyard crowd reacting loudly, simply not in the way in which he hoped it could.
The undefeated wrestling phenom improved to 7-0 as a professional MMA fighter with a unanimous resolution win towards veteran Paul Craig within the featured bout of Saturday’s pay-per-view occasion. Nickal swept the scorecards for all three judges, though the struggle was a lot nearer than these scores indicated. The 28-year-old didn’t rating a takedown or knockdown for the primary time in his profession, and landed 54 whole strikes over the competition—seven greater than Craig landed.
