Leon Edwards needs a rematch with Belal Muhammad
Since dropping his belt to Belal Muhammad final July, Leon Edwards has made it clear he needs to get the battle again.
Forward of his UFC London battle in opposition to Sean Brady, Edwards says he needs to get a rematch with Muhammad to show he’s the higher fighter.
“I’d like to run it again with Belal,” Edwards said on his YouTube channel. “I really feel prefer it’s tough to say who wins (between Muhammad and Della Maddalena). Like I stated, I’d most likely desire Belal, as a result of he was the final man to defeat me. And regardless that I had an off night time, I really feel like that’s what I must get again. I actually imagine that I’m the higher battle between me and him. And, (I wish to) go on the market and show it once more. However I’m specializing in Sean Brady proper now, and I simply must go on the market in London (and) do away with him. Then, as soon as I do away with him, then a title shot is subsequent for me.”
As for Muhammad, he’s set to tackle Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 315 in Montreal in Might.
