Belal Muhammad backing Brady for UFC London win

UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad says that “mentally weak” Leon Edwards will come up quick in his return to motion in London this weekend.

Edwards will search to rebound from his loss in almost a decade final summer time to Muhammad when he takes on Sean Brady contained in the O2 Enviornment within the English capital on Saturday night time, in what’s a pivotal battle for ‘Rocky’ if he’s to harbour reasonable ambitions of regaining the UFC’s 170-pound world title.

However Muhammad, who’s scheduled to defend his crown towards Australia’s Jack Della Maddalena later this 12 months, says that the way during which he comprehensively outpointed Edwards in Manchester, England final summer time means that his rival will stare down the barrel of defeat for a second battle in a row quickly after the cage door closes in London this weekend.

“This guys stuffed with excuses that’s why Brady will beat him,” Muhammad wrote in a put up to social media.

“I predict as soon as Brady will get him down two or 3 times he’ll discover a submission,” the champ added, “as a result of Leon’s weak mentally and he’ll have flashbacks from what I did to him.”

Muhammad is aware of rather a lot about each opponents, having shared a cage with Edwards on two events along with his October 2022 win over Brady — the only real lack of the Philly native’s skilled combined martial arts profession.

For his half, Brady is decided to make use of Edwards as a springboard to a rematch with Muhammad down the road.

“I really consider that I’m the higher battle between me and him,” he mentioned on his YouTube channel, as famous by BJPenn.com. “However I’m specializing in Sean Brady proper now, and I simply should go on the market in London, do away with [Edwards]. Then, as soon as I do away with him, then a title shot is subsequent for me.”
