Assault on Rep. Connolly’s staffers comes amid spike in threats towards lawmakers

Two staff members for Democratic Congressman Gerry Connolly were attacked Monday in Virginia by a man with a metal baseball bat. A short time earlier, a home security camera captured video of the suspect chasing a woman while holding a bat. All this comes amid a spike in threats against lawmakers. Two workers members for Democratic Congressman Gerry Connolly have been attacked Monday in Virginia by a person with a steel baseball bat. A short while earlier, a house safety digicam captured video of the suspect chasing a lady whereas holding a bat. All this comes amid a spike in threats towards lawmakers.
