Las Vegas Aces ahead A’ja Wilson simply added extra {hardware} to her trophy case.
The 2-time WNBA MVP received her second consecutive WNBA championship on Wednesday because the Las Vegas Aces defeated the New York Liberty 70-69 to take the collection 3-1. Wilson’s efforts within the collection have been rewarded with a Finals MVP trophy.

Wilson averaged 23.8 factors, 11.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.2 assists for the Aces in 9 postseason video games.
Wilson had 24 factors and 16 rebounds within the victory, resulting in Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell chiming in with some reward for the efficiency.

The award comes after the five-time All-Star completed third within the voting for this season’s WNBA MVP, which was received by Breanna Stewart of the Liberty.
The Aces are the primary workforce in 21 years to win back-to-back championships, with the Los Angeles Sparks final attaining this in 2001 and 2002. That is Wilson’s first WNBA Finals MVP as she continues to solidify herself as one of many WNBA greats.
