The Brewers have snapped a 57-year championship drought to secure their first title with a Game 5 win over the Rays

The Milwaukee Brewers are the 2026 World Series champions.
With Wednesday’s Game 5 win – and series win over the Tampa Bay Rays – the Brewers have secured the first title in franchise history on the heels of a dominant postseason. This win ends one of the longest title droughts in MLB history; at 57 years, Milwaukee was behind only the Cleveland Guardians (78 seasons) and San Diego Padres (58 seasons).
The Rays, meanwhile, go back to the drawing board after their elimination as they continue the search for their first World Series title.
Here’s the full 2026 MLB playoff bracket and every result from the postseason.
