The Boston Bruins and  announced today a multi-year partnership agreement naming Beth Israel Lahey Health as the Official Healthcare Partner of the Boston Bruins.

The partnership will bring together two pillars of the New England community, uniting the Bruins and BILH, with a focus on community engagement and education through health and wellness campaigns.

“The Boston Bruins are excited to welcome Beth Israel Lahey Health to the Bruins family as the Official Healthcare Partner of the Boston Bruins,” said Boston Bruins Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Glen Thornborough. “Through this multi-year partnership with BILH, we’re looking forward to leveraging our combined expertise to create a positive impact in the communities we serve through meaningful programming, raising health and wellness awareness and recognizing the providers and caretakers on the frontline every day.

“BILH and the Bruins share a commitment to teamwork, excellence and our communities, and we look forward our new partnership,” said Kevin Tabb, MD, President & CEO, Beth Israel Lahey Health. “Together, we will work to engage patients and their families through health education and other local initiatives to help create healthier communities, one person at a time.”

BILH is one of the largest health systems in New England, serving 2.1 million patients across eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The system encompasses 14 hospitals, more than 100 primary care practices, ambulatory and behavioral health facilities, urgent care centers, and other sites.
