Conor McGregor and Max Holloway come full circle. McGregor and Holloway meet 13 years after their first fight, before either man carved out Hall of Fame careers. They’re now two of the biggest stars in the sport’s history, headlining UFC 329 on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

McGregor has not been seen inside the Octagon since snapping his leg against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy in 2021. A lot has changed in that time, including Holloway moving up to 155 pounds and earning the ceremonial ‘BMF’ title against Justin Gaethje in an epic knockout at UFC 300. Holloway has since slipped up against both Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliviera, but “Blessed” is as dangerous as ever as he makes his debut at 170 pounds this week.

The annual International Fight Week set up has plenty to offer for fans of MMA this weekend. Look no further than the co-main event where Paddy Pimblett looks to bounce back against Benoit Saint Denis. Pimblett suffered his first UFC defeat in January at the hands of Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight crown. Now, that loss has aged great as Gaethje took the full title off of Ilia Topuria in June. He’ll need everything he can muster against Saint Denis, a top-five contender who himself has bounced back from a pair of 2024 defeats to rip off four straight wins.

Plus, rising bantamweight contenders collide in a featured bout when Cory Sandhagen takes on Mario Bautista. Sandhagen is looking to hold onto his position in the pecking order after losing his title opportunity against Merab Dvalishvili last October. The perennial contender has fallen short against the division’s elite while serving as a gatekeeper of sorts to the top with a 4-2 record since 2022. Bautista, meanwhile, has turned things around since a 2019 submission loss to Sandhagen. Bautista holds a 9-1 record since 2022.
