To say that Shedeur Sanders’ rookie season was a rollercoaster wouldn’t tell half the story, but he still managed to add some accolades to his resume.

Besides his controversial Pro Bowl selection, the Cleveland Browns QB also etched his name in NFL history with his accomplishments off the field.

Sanders broke Tom Brady’s record, earning $17.7 million in royalty payments from the NFLPA.

“A tremendous deal with the NFLPA,” Deion said. “A tremendous deal.”

Deion clarified that Shedeur also got plenty of money from trading cards and licensing, with his deal being negotiated long before his shocking slide to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Sanders wasn’t perfect on the field by any means, though he wasn’t put in a position to succeed, either.

Nevertheless, he still compiled one of the largest and loudest fan bases in pro sports.

Now, he’s looking to beat Deshaun Watson to hold onto the starting quarterback spot for new head coach Todd Monken, and there have been conflicting reports about his chances.

Regardless, even if he doesn’t get the nod, he might have one of the highest-selling jerseys in the league again in 2026, especially after going from No. 12 to No. 2.
