Torres had a stellar exhibiting this previous Saturday, defeating seasoned veteran Drew Dober within the opening body through TKO. Torres delivered a collection of onerous punches to the top of his opponent. Beltran stopped the struggle, however some imagine he was too late in calling a halt to the bout.

The victorious fighter has spoken out on whether or not or not he agrees with the critics.

Manuel Torres on UFC Mexico Metropolis Stoppage

Manuel Torres spoke to reporters in the course of the UFC Mexico Metropolis post-fight press convention. Through the presser, Torres admitted he believes Drew Dober was out of it previous to the stoppage (through MMAFighting).

“If you happen to take a look at the replay, watching the referee, like, I’m making numerous injury to my opponent, however he didn’t cease the struggle, so I’m knowledgeable, so I hold doing it,” Torres mentioned through a Spanish translator. “However yeah, in fact I really feel that my opponent, he was a bit of down even earlier than the stoppage.”

Torres didn’t pile on to the criticism of referee Mike Beltran because of the place Dober was in.
